The classic Fur Rondy sign - a photo on Flickriver

            This small set consists of some of the snow sculptures which were part of the Fur Rondy in Anchorage, Alaska in February 2010. We had a brief temperature perversion resulting in above freezing temps so there was a lot of thawing and freezing going on so the sculpture deteriorated quickly this year. By the time we got there a lot of them were completely deformed and the remaining ones were in pretty bad shape. Hopefully we'll have better weather next year and a chance to shoot them sooner.
