Totem pole detail, Thunderbird Park, Victoria, BC (IMG_6649a)

            We hopped onto the MV Coho from Port Angeles to the charming city of Victoria, B.C. on a gray, cold, eventually rainy day in May 2011. Victoria is such a cool city to visit - so clean and European with a mix of Pacific Northwest saltiness tossed in. One of the first stops we made was Thunderbird Park, a great collection of totem poles close to the Inner Harbor and great museum. I loved the colors of the totems - very similar to the ones we have in Southeast Alaska.
