Skiers at the 2012 Alaska Ski for Women (8332.jpg)

            The Ski for Women is an annual event held on Super Bowl Sunday at Kincaid Park in West Anchorage. The event is a fund raiser for good causes, such as preventing violence against women. There are a number of ski races of all levels of skiers and a lot of them wear cool costumes. It's really a fantastic event to attend - it's a cool part of life in Alaska - and this year the weather cooperated for a change - what a great day!

I took this photo in February 2012; can't wait until next year.
