STONECHAT MALE/ FEMALE - a photo on Flickriver

            A small and compact bird, and are easy to find if you visit a heath, common or gorse slope near the coast, birds almost pose for your photograph, as they perch conspicuously and announce their presence with harsh, agitated calls ( tchak!) they normally keep together in pairs,not moving far from the area you found them in. Its great watching them, and hard not to love them.
