Cooperstown Junction - a photo on Flickriver

            The goal of my drive yesterday was here. Once a junction of several lines of the Delaware and Hudson Railroad. Only its own main line is used the branches sit decrepit. These branch lines are used to hold equipment owned by the Leatherstocking Railway Historical Society. I'll call it abandoned here as most of this stock has not moved from here in many years. This is a 1940's  Pennsylvania Railroad GG1 electric engine. A personal favorite of mine. This one bears the CR logo from when the Penn Central was absorbed into Conrail.
