Former British Rail Gronk, 08375 hauls a raft of PCA Cement Hoppers, for the Ketton Cement Plant, which had recently arrived in the Ketton Ward exchange sidings. 14 07 2017

            About an hour after arriving, the Class 08 shunter hauls some of the hoppers along the 1 mile private branchline to the Castle Cement Factory.

Once upon a time, the 08 shunters were so commonplace all around the country, it was hardly worth taking a picture, now it is quite rare to see one in everyday use on revenue earning duties.

I believe this loco is on hire from Harry Needle.
