Old Orchard Daybreak - a photo on Flickriver

A last minute trip up the coast to Old Orchard Beach was no disappointment. In the company of Benjamin M. Williamson Photography, we were treated to an incredible display of color and light, which was funny because I was mentioning to Ben how I always seem to luck out with conditions at this location. Well, I can't say that anymore, that's for sure.

In this shot I attempted to capture the movement of the clouds and colors as they developed across the sky, using some long exposure photography. This is about a two and a half minute snapshot of the beach and boardwalk as the morning progressed. Minimal editing was done since this was pretty much how the scene presented itself to us.
