Ym 12 "Storåen" van de Midtjyske Jernbaner te Vrist op 8-8-2015

            In de zomer van 2015 waren we op vakantie in Denemarken (Lemvig). Rondom Lemvig zijn de Lemvigbanen te vinden die worden bereden door de Midtjyske Jernbaner. In 2008 is VLTJ (Vemb-Lemvig Jernbane) met Hads-Ning Herreders Jernbane (HHJ) gefuseerd tot Midtjyske Jernbaner.

De mooiste lijn is de spoorlijn Lemvig-Thyborøn, maar het lijntje tussen Vemb en Lemvig biedt ook mooie fotolocaties.

Op 8 augustus reed ik naar het mooie fotopunt in de buurt van Vrist. Hier rijdt de trein door een mooi begroeide passage in een duinlandschap met het dorpje Vrist op de achtergrond. Er is slechts één stoptrein per dag die deze mooie stek tijdens een goede fotostand passeert. Daarnaast rijdt er tweemaal per week een goederentrein rond deze tijd. Gelukkig lukte het deze dag om de stoptrein in een lekker zonnetje te fotograferen.

Op de foto komt de ruim dertig jaren oude Lynette-Tog Ym 12  "Storåen" van de Midtjyske Jernbaner aanbrommen met stoptrein 610 Thyborøn-Lemvig in het fraaie duinlandschap nabij Vrist. Deze fraaie treinstellen rijden anno 2022 nog rondom Lemvig, maar nieuwe treinstellen gaan de Lynette's binnenkort vervangen.
