Morning Mushroom Cloud (Explored) - a photo on Flickriver

            This morning's impressive Atlas V launch from the Cape, as seen from my backyard, approximately forty-four miles away from the launch site (SLC-41). After a short delay, it finally launched prior to sunrise, giving us the mushroom cloud, sending the AEHF-5 communications satellite and a cubesat into orbit for the, both for the United States military.
