Eastern Black Rhino

            This critically endanged species is found in Kenya and Tanzania, and is the rarest of the three subspecies of the Black Rhino. Regrettably, its demise is due largely to poaching. Even though it can run at speeds of 40mph, and has excellent hearing and smell, because of poor eyesight it cannot detect humans 30 meters away.
