Northern Pygmy Owl Explore 9/11/2019

            This owl is holding a black capped chickadee in it's talons which shows just how tiny these owls are.  I set out today with my camera set up for back button focus, looking for something to shoot to try it out.  I heard  lots of Chickadees and Nuthatches so I went in behind a tree to see if I could shoot some of them .  When I looked up I was staring right into the eyes of this adorable little creature!!
