            One, only one, always goes missing in the undefinable and totally mysterious depths of the washing machine...

Unless you put them into a small washing bag :-) This is a one-piece "clothes-pegs in a row" kind of thing that you can attach to the frame of your clothes rack for extra "hanging space" - very convenient for small parts like sock(s) :-) The size of a single element is 2,3 cm / 0,9 inches (height) and 1 cm / 0,39 inches (width).

Das Socken-Dilemma. Eine verschwindet immer in den unergründlichen Tiefen der Waschmaschine ;-) 

Aber nicht zwingend, es gibt ja Wäschesäckchen. Dies ist eine Nahansicht des sogenannten "Kleinteilehalters" meines Wäscheständers, den man platzsparend am Gestänge anbringen kann. Eine Reihe Wäscheklammern am Stück gewissermaßen, sehr praktisch für kleine Teile, u. a. eben auch die Socke(n) :-)
