FORTUNATE WITH THE SUN - a photo on Flickriver

            LMS 4-6-0 5XP 5690 Leander heads away from Northwich at Ashley with the Trans Pennine Pullman on 10-4-82 
The only reason for taking the telephoto shot was to include the semaphore which is long gone now.
Steam came on at Northwich with Leander coming off at Hellifield and the Duchess then took the train to Carnforth
