MIDDLE OF NOWHERE - a photo on Flickriver

MIDDLE OF NOWHERE

            GWR 4-6-0 6000 King George V heads a Welsh Marches Pullman between Leominster and Ford Bridge on 21-11-81

Initiially I had problems identifying this location and had thought it was either approaching Woofferton or near Shelwick Junction. I think the telegraph poles make the picture as it would be very 'bland' otherwise.
Assuming I am right then the Leomister by-pass now runs immediately behind the train.
I'm fairly sure about the date but any ammendments gratefully received.

Sadly 6000 is extremely unlikely to steam again.
