RACING THE CLOUD..... - a photo on Flickriver

            The field in the background has already lost the cloud which helps make this even more dramatic. The locos opened up just as they entered the passing loop. Probably the best scene I have witnessed this year [though I should get out more!].
In truth I have never seen a non-stop working through Ledbury so was taken by surprise by the exeleration. 37667 and 37521 approach Ledbury station on 10-6-21.
The working is the 1Z12 17.13 Hereford to Crewe [which left at 17.12] The Malvern Mountaineer.
They had earlier worked the 1Z11, 10.28 Crewe to Hereford via South Wales. Branch Line Society and Railway Children's charity railtour.
