Una Norvegese in Sicilia (Foto del mese n. 83 – marzo 2017)

Molte locomotive dismesse da amministrazioni ferroviarie nord europee trovano spesso una seconda possibilità di impiego in Italia grazie alle imprese di lavori di costruzione e manutenzione dell’infrastruttura che le utilizzano un testa ai propri convogli.
Tra locomotive di “seconda mano” impiegate in testa a treni cantiere sulle linee siciliane vi sono anche alcune NOHAB norvegesi come quella ritratta in questa bella fotografia di Roberto Meli scattata nel 2015 tra S.Oliva e Licata.

A Norwegian in Sicily (Photo of the month n. 83 - March 2017)
Many disused locomotives from northern European railway administrations often find a second chance in Italy thanks to enterprises of railways construction and maintenance.
Among locomotives of "second hand" employed in Sicily at the head of shipyard train there are also some Norwegians Nohab like the one portrayed in this beautiful photograph taken in , by Roberto , between S.Oliva and Licata.
