            Sunshine and rainclouds were quickly alternating on that day and I waited for a moment when sunbeams caused the water surface of the Binnenalster to glitter while dark clouds lingered over the buildings in the background. And I wanted people in the photo too, to provide a point of interest in the foreground.

Shot with Tamron 35-80 mm manual lens. Somehow I decided again to convert it to black and white because it made the photo look more dramatic. Is it just a cheap trick to make dull photos look interesting? I do sometimes wonder...

Addition 18 March 2021:
As of today this is my second most "successful" picture on flickr, which comes to my absolute surprise! Don't get me wrong: I am happy about it. But as I see it, as soon as a photo lands in Explore, a self-enhancing process is set into motion that generates views, favs and group invites. So the number of these favs and views do not necessarily reflect the quality of the picture, same with view-generating activities as posting in hundreds of totally unrelated groups. Not that this finding comes as a surprise to me, but it makes me question the whole meaningfulness of counting views and favs here on flickr once again. The fact, that there a blurry pictures of lorries from behind with >400 favs, add to that notion.
