We have lift off - Blue Hawaiian Helicopter tour - Kauai

We have lift off. Looking out on the Lihue Airport and Control Tower. This helo is in the air for my adventure.

This was an adventure. I was scheduled for Thursday. When I got there, the flights were cancelled by the FAA because of weather.

I was rescheduled for Friday. I got up and headed for the airport at Lihue feeling very anxious because the weather looked ominous.

When I got to the Lihue airport the weather was drizzling but we were cleared to depart.

The weather was drizzly affecting my photos, but this was an experience of my lifetime. Actually, in some ways this light was beneficial.
My pilot Chelsea was skillful and knowledgeable. This helicopter was awesome. An Airbus EC130 T2 “Eco-Star”. I got the right hand seat. Pretty good visibility but still some reflection.

I try to keep my horizons level, but on a helicopter flight I was pointing and shooting without looking. I sort of like the tilted horizons showing the banking in the helicopter.
