Protesters Approach Army Lines - 29 January 2011

            As the protesters approached Tahrir Square the army officer (standing on the tank) looked visibly nervous about the possibility of conflict.  It was a tense moment in the crowd too as no one was sure what orders the military had.  But moments later the people were crowding round the tanks shaking the hands of the soldiers.
