Winchester Cathedral Interior, Winchester, Sep 2016

            I want to show some of the pictures I took at Winchester Cathedral back in September. I travelled to Winchester back in September I wanted to come and visit this Cathedral. I paid £7.95 for entrance and it is just simply amazing to stand right at the back and try and take in the size of the nave. I wandered around the cathedral and found where Jane Austin the famous writer is buried there is a wee bit of information about her, although her grave slab makes no mention of her literary achievements. After about an hour I sat down and an elderly lady came and asked me if I would like a tour, well I was up for that. It was so interesting to listen to her stories she had been coming to this cathedral all her days. So, all in all I was here for well over two hours, no wonder it is so popular with visitors.
