La Place Bellecour è una grande piazza nel centro di Lione, in Francia. Misura 312 m per 200 m (62.000 m²), è una delle più grandi piazze aperte (ovvero senza macchie di verde o alberi) in Europa, e la terza piazza più grande in Francia, dietro la Place des Quinconces a Bordeaux (126.000 m² ) e Place de la Concorde a Parigi (86.400 m²). È anche la più grande piazza pedonale in Europa. Nel mezzo è una statua equestre del re Luigi XIV di François-Frédéric Lemot (1825). Un'altra statua, che rappresenta il Petit Prince e Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, si trova all'estremità ovest della piazza. La piazza fa parte del patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO.

La Place Bellecour is a large square in the centre of Lyon, France. Measuring 312 m by 200 m (62,000 m²), it is one of the largest open squares (i.e. without any patches of greenery or trees) in Europe, and the third biggest square in France, behind the Place des Quinconces in Bordeaux (126,000 m²) and the Place de la Concorde in Paris (86,400 m²). It is also the largest pedestrian square in Europe. In the middle is an equestrian statue of king Louis XIV by François-Frédéric Lemot (1825). Another statue, representing the Petit Prince and Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, is at the west end of the square. The square is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
