City of Coventry Health Centre (Sonnemann Toon 2012)

            My local health centre is indeed a nice place to visit. 
The architect and artist Cressida Toon designed much of the art and design themes seen on the inside and outside, as well as liaising with local groups to add colour and form to the building.  Incorporating the city's Walk-in centre with Local GP surgeries and various healthcare facilities, it was partially a sop to the west and south of the city who felt much anger when the centrally located Coventry & Warwickshire hospital was relocated out to Walsgrave in the northeastern suburbs  prolonging journey times and disadvantaging much of the rest of the outlying suburbs.
