Number 7 Little Park Street Coventry (1720)

            This was built  for Thomas Bird a silk ribbon manufacture during the early reign of King George 1st.  Probably the work of one of the Smith brothers of Warwick. Now part of a city center pub called "The Castle" (formerly "The Varsity" when restored in 1998) It is a private residence, although it now appears to be unused, and only parts of the ground and first floors have been incorporated into the pub which is actually next door.
