Townbrook Valley and the Long Mynd, Shropshire

            This valley is on the eastern side of the Long Mynd - a heath and moorland plateau that forms part of the Shropshire Hills - and leads down to Church Stretton, which is seen in the distance. This is in the heart of the Shopshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is roughly half-way between Ludlow (to the south) and Shrewsbury (to the north). The highest point of the Long Mynd is around 1,700 feet above sea level.
