Far from electronic civilization - a photo on Flickriver

More than a month living in the countryside! When we talk about Algarve, we think of calm sea and beautiful beaches, but Algarve is very extensive and there are mountains and fields with lots of vegetation. I was by the Guadiana River, far from the big cities, in an area on the border between Portugal and Spain where the river is narrow and we could hear the Spanish neighbors on the other bank. The downside were the communications, internet and cell phone, but they weren't needed that much because the time was almost not enough for work in the fields, gardening and long walks... It was a long but fantastic vacation and I hope to return soon. :-)
