Photograph caption dated June 15, 1963 reads "VSC student studies herpetology with help of collectors - Eileen Juhnke, 17, holds good specimen of male iguana for brother Dennis, 22." He and two neighborhood friends go out on bi-weekly expeditions to capture, identify, and log herpetological specimens in the San Fernando Valley area in preparation for a book.
