Plus dans le village à l'origine, le prieuré clunisien fut déplacé plusieurs fois au fil de l'Histoire et occupe dorénavant l'autre côté de l'église Saint-Martin (11e 12e siècle) dont il a utilisé la 3e nef.

C'est maintenant une maison de retraite pour prêtres et autres religieux gérée par une communauté Assomptionniste.
