Zu sehen sind vier deutsche Soldaten die vermutlich zum Infanterie-Regiment Großherzog Friedrich Franz II von Mecklenburg-Schwerin (4. Brandenburgisches) Nr. 24 (IR24) gehören. Das Regiment war in Neuruppin stationiert.

Soweit die Aufnahme nach dem 1. August 1914 gemacht wurde, kann es sich auch um Angehörige des Reserve-Infanterie-Regiments Nr. 24 (RIR24) handeln. Der Regimentsstab, das I. Bataillon und die Maschinengewehr-Kompanie des RIR24 wurden zu Beginn des Krieges durch Hinzuziehung des III. Bataillon des IR24 in Neuruppin aufgestellt.
