Sea Otter... My First! - a photo on Flickriver

            Id been keeping an eye out for sea otters the whole time I was on Islay... but I never expected for one to turn up whilst I was standing waiting on the ferry home at Port Askaig. I had a half hr to kill so I was taking a landscape shot all set up on a tripod across to the Paps of Jura. The paps are mountains btw. Anyway im mid 20sec exposure when this guy pops up... so had to wait till the landscape shot was taken... strip my camera off filters... change the lens and completely change all the settings to allow for wildlife and fast shutter speeds and then I managed to get this which is by no means great... but it is my first ever sea otter picture so im happy enough I even managed to get the shot taken at all!
