Bird in Bokeh - a photo on Flickriver

Bird in Bokeh

            Taken at RSPB Fowlsheugh on the Aberdeenshire Coast. Fantastic location for shooting seabirds. Razorbills, Fulmars and Guillemots and Kittiwakes being the main species on show along with a fair amount of herring gulls.

Had a lovely morning here before the weather turned bad on Monday. I spent soooo long trying to do panning shots of birds in flight... really not to easy! A lot harder that with cars and bikes thats for sure! 

Just liked how this kittiwake was popping his head up allowing me to create the bokeh background and the OOF foreground.
