I couldn't imagine that taking pictures of a statue could be a thrilling experience, thus it was a hell of a good one.
My first challenge was to find the best light and composition for each photo.
Second exciting challenge was to play with the depth of field, which I did by using the Nikkor 24-70 f2.8, an amazing lens that I borrowed for this trip.
And finally to play with lightroom big time trying to make the image the way I envisioned it.
This is quite an example of what I'm talking about. Shallow depth of field with focus on Medusa's head, duotone, various masking to enhanche or pull back parts of the image and quite a strong vignetting.
