Faded Glory at Stranraer - a photo on Flickriver

            Scotrail Sprinter 156 430 Departs Stranraer harbour working the 1709 Service to Ayr. What a sad and delapidated site this is since Stenna moved to Cairnryan. I remember being invited into the library and shown the grandiose plans for development of the site with cafes and a sea world! Well it as all come to nothing. all services terminate at Ayr and I remember when these Sprinters first came  into revenue service  in 1989 travelling from Newcastle to Stranraer on the through service en route to Larne.How times have changed.
