Trig Point on Thorpe Fell - a photo on Flickriver

            Lonely trig point at 1,660 feet above sea level upon Barden Moor.
There is no visible path leading to this feature, requiring a tramp across difficult moorland and bog.
The trig point itself is now showing signs of decay, with concrete crumbling particularly from the top.  This state of affairs will continue due its exposure to the harsh conditions of the location.
