Sink Creek Falls 1, Sink Creek, Dekalb Co, TN

I had some free time this morning, so I looked at a map to get some ideas for where to go. Looking at Tennessee Landforms is a good first stop for my solo adventures. I noticed there was no waterfall shown in a cove on Center Hill Lake where there should be one. This is good because not only do I get to document the waterfall and submit it to Tom (at Tennessee Landforms) but I also get to take the first (documented) photos of the waterfall.

My hunch turned out to be correct, and after a little more than a mile of creek walking I found this. Part of the water feeding the falls comes strait out of the bedrock wall on the left of the image. Also, top center, one can see some of the remains of the mill that was once there.
