            E' detto quasi tutto;
e come niente, 
storia, ti disponi
proprio lì sul confine
dove si fanno i fuochi
e le danze di rito,
qui dove le mele e il pane
sanno d'inverno
e di mestizia,
per le diritte strade
che ho disceso
con il sollievo intrepido
dello sparviero,
per i remoti grumi
di pietre nei sentieri del Carso.
E' detto quasi tutto
ma resta un groppo nero
un fascio d'anni e stenti
che si ritrae ancora
se tento di guardarlo.
