KÖ-BOGEN II, Gustaf-Gründgens-Platz, Dusseldorf, Allemagne

            Après la fin des travaux de la Wehrhahn-Linie, la démolition du bloc d’immeubles entre la Gustaf-Gründgens-Platz et la Schadowstraße, puis celle du parking souterrain, le « Ingenhoven Tal », partie intégrante du Kö-Bogen II a été créé.
Il s’agit d’un bâtiment de forme plus ou moins pyramidale, conçu par le célèbre architecte Christoph Ingenhoven à la suite d’un concours en 2014, bâtiment dont les pentes et le toit sont recouverts de haies de végétation… Finalité esthétique mais aussi prétendue écologique. Le nouveau bâtiment devrait s’intégrer parfaitement dans son environnement, celui du Hofgarten et de la nouvelle Jan-Wellem-Platz. Il met notamment en valeur deux œuvres architecturales majeures de la ville : la Schauspielhaus et la Dreischeibenhaus.
Les façades nord et ouest, d'une grande complexité géométrique, inclinées de 40 °, sont entièrement pourvues de bacs en acier disposant d'un système d'alimentation et d'évacuation en eau et végétalisés par 2400 m linéaires de charmilles. Les parties sud et est, quant à elles, sont vitrées par un système de montants et traverses. 
Par ailleurs, la végétation sur le bâtiment constitue pour la ville, un réservoir d’air frais, propre et humide.
Sur une surface utile impressionnante de 30.000 m2, le Ingenhoven Tal accueille bureaux, magasins et restaurants. La longueur de la façade côté Shadowstraße est de 111 mètres. Le nouveau garage et ses 5 étages souterrains offrent un potentiel de 670 places.
Du côté ouest de la place, un toit en pente de 10 mètres de haut, côté parc, est recouvert de gazon pour donner une impression de prolongement du Hofgarten. Il abrite restaurants et magasins gastronomiques et son toit accueille des visiteurs en quête de soleil.

After the end of the work on the Wehrhahn-Linie, the demolition of the block of buildings between Gustaf-Gründgens-Platz and Schadowstraße, then that of the underground car park, the "Ingenhoven Tal", an integral part of Kö-Bogen II was created.
It is a building of more or less pyramidal shape, designed by the famous architect Christoph Ingenhoven following a competition in 2014, a building whose slopes and roof are covered with hedges of vegetation... Aesthetic purpose but also claimed to be ecological. The new building should fit perfectly into its environment, that of the Hofgarten and the new Jan-Wellem-Platz. It highlights in particular two major architectural works of the city: the Schauspielhaus and the Dreischeibenhaus.
The north and west facades, of great geometric complexity, inclined at 40°, are entirely provided with steel troughs having a water supply and evacuation system and planted with 2400 linear m of arbours. The southern and eastern parts, for their part, are glazed by a system of uprights and crosspieces.
In addition, the vegetation on the building constitutes for the city, a reservoir of fresh, clean and humid air.
On an impressive surface area of 30,000 m2, the Ingenhoven Tal accommodates offices, shops and restaurants. The length of the facade on the Shadowstraße side is 111 meters. The new garage and its 5 underground floors offer a potential of 670 places.
On the west side of the square, a 10-meter-high sloping roof, on the park side, is covered with grass to give the impression of an extension of the Hofgarten. It houses restaurants and gourmet shops and its roof welcomes visitors in search of the sun.
