Moonset over the Indian Peaks - a photo on Flickriver

            The full moon casts its light through the clouds as it prepares to sink below the Indian Peaks portion of the Front Range, from the vantage point of Sawhill Ponds outside Boulder, Colorado. The first light of dawn adds a little color to the ashes and cottonwoods on the other side of the pond. I saw a few Belted Kingfishers as I paced back and forth with the tripod and camera gear.
