Hong Kong Islands Aerial View - a photo on Flickriver

A view of Lantau, Cheung Chau and Shek Kwu Chau (Shek Kau Chau) from the airplane. Clearly visible in the sky is the inversion layer that traps the smog. The wake trails visible are from high speed ferries to (and from) Macau and Zhuhai.

The location from where the shot is taken is obviously just a rough estimate...
