honey bee on eucryphia flower {explored}

Rowallane Gardens today. in the walled garden

I think eucryphias are my favourite bushes/trees. I have a Eucryphia x nymansensis 'Nymansay' in my garden.

the one in this picture has similar flowers and leaves but seems a more spreading shape (Nymansay is distinctly columnar and that is a key feature that sells it)

The tree is buzzing. Loads of carder bees and white/buff tailed workers as well as the honey bees. loads of flies too.
