209/CDSPY2 - {play is suspended} - a photo on Flickriver

            So...went to Wimbledon today (along with 15,000 others) as they had the run through for the new roof, with Henman, the mighty Agassi, Graf and Clijsters playing some wonderfully entertaining tennis. Really enjoyable to watch and the roof was needed as surprise surprise it ended up raining! Anyway, this was at number 2 court, just waiting for some matches to start, but a month too early....

And I have to say this. I dont block many people, but I had a small flutter of blocking's yesterday after Tyla posted a photo of me that was part of the ShootLondon comp (which she has kindly now taken down for me). I have never really received rude and upsetting mail but to ask if i had doubled in size over night, and how much to I photoshop my body...jesus. Is it any wonder women have issues?? No. I dont PS my body!? I am what I am. No, I am not Kate Moss and never will be, yes, when shot without great light and get a wrong angle, i have *shock horrow* CURVES and a little extra flesh where i need to bend. 

So. Please PLEASE take less time to look less at the person in the photo and think 'ugly/pretty/tired/fat/thin' and look at the photograph as a whole (which i know most of you do)...at what has been created. I dont mean to sound precious but that is why i take photos. To try and create an interesting image, whilst improving my skills as a photographer. I only have one person to work with in this self-portrait project, and I try and create images that I am happy with, and that might bring some enjoyment to view. Sod the fact I'm in them. That is all. (But you upset me asking that. Just so you know.)
