Storks in the wheat field - a photo on Flickriver

            A large number of straw bales attracted me to stop and take a few photos, but when I got closer I saw several storks standing still and posing, as if they were waiting for me. July is the month when the grain is harvested, and it is also an opportunity for the storks to pick up mice, voles and other small animals that feed on the grains of grain that the combine failed to put into the tractor.
