If this woman is familiar to you it's either because she's now a famous Hollywood A-list actress or it's because you saw the original full frame shot here when I uploaded it back in 2014.

Lately I've been uploading more photos to Instagram and as I prefer to post only square format shots I've been on the lookout for images which work well in this format. Cropping to a square format removes a second out of focus figure to the left which means the focus is now more strongly on Alicia Vikander. Shot with a long lens on the 'Testament of Youth' set in Oxford.

From Wikipedia "Alicia Amanda Vikander, born 3 October 1988, is a Swedish actress. She is the recipient of several accolades, including an Academy Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award, in addition to nominations for two Golden Globe Awards and three British Academy Film Awards........

Vikander achieved global recognition for her roles as activist Vera Brittain in Testament of Youth (2014), a humanoid robot in Ex Machina (2014), for which she was nominated for the BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role, and painter Gerda Wegener in The Danish Girl (2015), for which she won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. In 2016, Vikander was listed by Forbes in its 30 Under 30 list. She had a supporting role in the action film Jason Bourne (2016) and starred as Lara Croft in the adventure film Tomb Raider (2018). In 2020, Vikander portrayed American feminist Gloria Steinem in The Glorias."
