Bowman Lake (Head) Backcountry Campground

Over the 10 days of camping I developed a habit of trying to shoot every campsite we stayed on. I missed a few for different reasons but I might show the one or the other in the upcoming days/weeks :)

This is our second night in the Backcountry and the third in Montana (or the US) in total. The evening before we were struck by a massive thunderstorm and when we crawled out of our tent in the morning we could barely see the more that 10 meters at the shore of Bowman lake. But as soon as the sun started to peek over the peaks (pun intended) the fog disappeared - leaving our gear still wet but providing some nice light. The thunderstorm also started the Sprague Fire (about 1.500 acre, www.hungryhorsenews.com/article/20170824/ARTICLE/170829977) that messed up all of our planning for the rest of the trip.
