San Clemente Island, Los Angeles County, California

Window Pane is a pinnacle about 200 yards offshore of the leeward side of San Clemente Island. The top is about 35 feet (11m) deep. The base of the pinnacle varies from about 140 feet (43m) near the island to over 200 feet (61m) on the outside. It is one of the best dive sites on the leeward side of the island. The second type of seaweed at the bottom of the picture is Sargassum filicinum, an invasive species from Asia.
