Banpresto – Imagination Popy Chogokin – GA-100 Mobile Suit Gundam (機動戦士ガンダム) – I Am Chogokin Too!!

            This is so to speak “what it would be look like” or “what if” item of Chogokin Gundam by Banpresto released in 1999 for the 20th Anniversary of Mobile Suit Gundam as a part of the Big Bang Project. Box shows old Popy mark too and the robot was designed with the golden era of Chogokin (70’s) in mind. Had Clover not been producing Gundam items but Popy had secured the license Chogokin Gundam would have been looked like this one back then. Body and the legs are made of diecast metal and although it is only about 5.1 inches tall it feels pleasantly heavy. With this guy, I am kid again!! : )
