Sierra de Pándols - Tarragona - a photo on Flickriver

Situadas entre los ríos Canaletes y Sec, que prolongan hacia el noreste los puertos de Tortosa-Beseit, son sierras con formaciones de gran valor paisajístico, con corrientes de agua y profundas gargantas. Las cabras salvajes procedentes de los puertos, hoy parque natural, son el principal valor faunístico de este enclave.
Estas dos sierras fueron testigo de uno de los episodios más sangrientos de la Guerra Civil Española: la batalla del Ebro. Aunque ahora se pueden encontrar restos de trincheras y otros materiales.
