Wellcome Collection Spiral Reflection

I have taken shots before of the Wellcome Collection Spiral Staircase which opened in 2015. On this occasion however the stairs were closed so I had to find alternative compositions. No clever processing tricks but a simple reflection. On the ground floor there is a mirrored wall. One interesting result of the picture is that viewed as a small thumbnail it looks like an alien face with giant eyes, see first comment, or maybe just my overactive imagination

The picture was taken handheld with a Sony A68 with a Sigma 10-20mm wide angle lens at 10 mm. The ISO setting was 1000 to give a fast enough shutter speed in the light. 3 raw images 2EV spacing. 3 raw images 2EV spacing for HDR. Then the image was processed in Photomatix using contrast optimizer for a more natural look. Processing in Photoshop then started with Topaz Clarity and Topaz DeNoise. Then the Transform warp tool was used to straighten out the image. Some brightness adjustments were done with layer masks.

The picture was given more punch using a clarity effect using unsharp mask with settings of 36 amount and 36 radius.
