            Vista y fotografiada en Parc natural Delta de l’Ebre. 

La cigüeña blanca es un ave emblemática, imposible de confundir por su gran envergadura, color blanco y borde de las alas negro. Es una de las aves mas arraigadas en la cultural popular y tradiciones, en las que ha sido mencionada en múltiples obras literarias y protagonistas en múltiples mitos. Las cigüeñas son muy adaptables, estando presente en zonas intervenidas por la actividad humana. Los agricultores las aprecian mucho pues sirven como controladoras de plagas.
