731 – Arcón - Santuario de Montesclaros – Valdeprado del Río – Cantabria - Spain.

            Visitando iglesias rupestres y románico por la zona del nacimiento del río Ebro, me encuentro con el Real Santuario de Montesclaros en Valdeprado del Río en Cantabria (Spain), lugar lleno de historia de varios siglos y leyendas.
Aquí podemos contemplar entre otras bellezas este arcón con adornos en marfil, y aunque no sea románico no puedo resistir la tentación de mostrarlo.

We are visiting caves and Romanesque churches in the area of the source of the Ebro River, I find the Royal Sanctuary of Montesclaros in Valdeprado del Río in Cantabria (Spain), a place full of history of several centuries and legends.
Here we can contemplate among other beauties this ark with ivory ornaments, and although it is not Romanesque, I cannot resist the temptation to show it.
