Snoqualmie River, Middle Fork - a photo on Flickriver

If you're in the NW the middle fork of the Snoqualmie is such a great destination. Just barely up I-90 from North Bend and there is a 13 mile road that takes you all the way back in amongst the river and surrounding mountain peaks. That road ends at the Taylor river bridge and campground but Jeep roads continue on a ways.

It was getting quite dark out and the rocks appeared black, so this is a 2 shot HDR in Lr which benefitted from the over exposed, 2nd shot (one shot normal, and the 2nd one a stop over). The Hoya HD3 polarizer was on there that enhanced saturation in the rocks and removed glare, also giving a slightly longer exposure on the water.
